Happy July! I hope you have all been having a restful and relaxing summer! It has been quiet without all the students here at St. Ann but still a lot of things have been happening! Lots of paint, improving, and cleaning at the school, and the YCC had a nice, new fence installed.

Your 2023 Fall Festival Auction Team has been hard at work since January and has some exciting news to share with all of you. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 6th - the date of this year’s Fall Festival!

As we go through the next few days, preparing to head into summer, let us be thankful for all learning and growing that has happened, all the challenges that have made us better, and all the wonderful memories made here at St. Ann this year!

This week the staff was celebrated each day with a special treat for Teacher Appreciation Week . It was amazing to see the community come together to show the St. Ann staff their love and appreciation! Teaching, especially in a Catholic School, is an incredible calling and sacrifice. We are blessed to have so many unbelievable teachers that are truly dedicated to the mission of St. Ann and to Catholic education.

We are looking forward to celebrating Tiger Trot today as a school community! Thank you to everyone for donating their time, talent, and treasure to make this fundraiser for our school such a huge success!

This weekend, our 2nd grade class will be celebrating their First Communion. Thank you for keeping our 2nd graders, their teachers, and their families in your prayers as they prepare for this monumental moment in their sacramental journey!

I pray everyone had a blessed Easter with their family and friends. It has been a wonderful week here at St. Ann filled with beautiful weather! Students have just about wrapped up state testing. Thank you to all the teachers for their hard work in getting those completed...

Throughout St. Ann Catholic School, students have been reflecting on what a special time this is.I pray everyone enjoys a blessed Holy Week with their loved ones. There are so many opportunities to spend time this week and weekend with your family showing gratitude to Jesus for all his sacrifices!

Please know that we have already begun taking the necessary steps in evaluating any improvements or security upgrades that we can put into place.

During this Lenten season, we recognize the importance of reflection and appreciation. St. Ann Catholic School staff members are dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, and we are grateful for all their time, talent, treasure, and efforts to ensure our children grow closer to Christ.

Our Friday today was filled with a Fire Drill, a fun dance party with Mr. Miles, and a farewell to 3rd quarter! We hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable Spring Break.

This warm weather this week has been a great way to begin this Lenten season! I've always thought of Lent as a type of spiritual spring cleaning. A time to rid ourselves of habits that keep us from Christ. It is a season of new beginnings!

We appreciate everyone who was able to join us for Ash Wednesday Mass. Our students began their Lenten journey with a Faith Family activity today involving a Lent Trivia Game!

We hope everyone enjoyed the Chiefs Victory Parade yesterday! Thank you for your flexibility, as this was such an exciting time to be part of the Kansas City community.

Happy Red Friday everyone! I want to start by saying that the talent show was unbelievable this past Friday! The students did amazing! We are so blessed to have volunteers that are willing to dedicate so much of their time to make things happen here at St. Ann.

Happy Thursday! I can't believe that we are already at the end of January! We will begin our kick-off to Catholic Schools Week at the 9 AM Mass on Sunday. Please come and encourage your children to wear their uniforms. I can't wait to see everyone's school spirit!

January weather is definitely beginning to show up and the students have begun to settle into the third quarter. I love walking down the halls and seeing all the new year resolutions! This is such a great time of the year to slow down, evaluate, and renew ourselves.
